After 25 years in business, Front Room Studios had never been branded professionally. After many years of DIY attempts at their logo and 'quick fixes' of their website, it all lacked cohesiveness and professionalism. They needed a brand that better reflected the high-quality service they provide their clients and a website that's easy for customers to find the information they need.

Brand Clarity Session

We guided the Front Room Studios team through a Brand Clarity Session where we learned all about their offerings, customers, current business struggles, and future goals.

Based on our conversations, we then create a Brand Road Map which outlined all the core foundational elements of their business including mission statement, core values, customer profiles, brand messaging, and much more.


We gathered a collection of images that we felt represented the 'Front Room' aesthetic and the direction we planned to take the brand and website design. The images showcase vintage elements with clean lines, brick texture and lounge furniture reminiscent of their studio space, and geometric shapes in colorful, happy shades.

Color Palette

The Front Room color palette is bright, happy, and optimistic. There are many ways to use this color palette. However, in general it is best to choose only 2-3 colors for a single design. A good rule of thumb is to use 1-2 neutral colors and one accent color to use throughout the design. Using too many colors is overwhelming to the eye and leads to a poor design.


The use of typography for the Front Room brand consists of Neue Haas Grotesk and Bicyclette. Use Neue Haas Grotesk Display Medium or Regular for headlines. Use Bicyclette Bold in all caps for subheads. Use Neue Haas Grostesk Text Regular for body copy.
